Welcome to NJ Society of Gastroenterology Nurses & Associates Website (NJSGNA)

NJSGNA.org is dedicated to supporting SGNA’s national mission, vision and goals. NJ SGNA is divided into three regions based on either mailing address or place of employment. Members are able to join the region of their choice. Through this website we strongly encourage attendance to any regional meetings and tri-regional networking and support. Each region offers free contact hours for members at 4-5 meetings per year and at an annual fall Tri-regional conference. Currently this site serves the Northern, Central, and Ocean Monmouth NJ regions.

Accepting Doris Barnie Scholarship 2026 applications for Northern New Jersey Chapter members now!

Find information in the "About Us" section about the Barnie Scholarship for CGRN Certification/Recertification. This scholarship was established in memory of Doris Barnie, a 'GI nurse' who, among other contributions, promoted her passion by helping nurses across the USA achieve GI Certification (CGRN).

The Central NJ Region is excited to provide you with information on upcoming regional events, happenings, announcements, scholarship awards, elections and other great need to know facts.

The Central New Jersey Spring SGNA virtual meeting will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 beginning at 8:00am.
